Situated in Pulau Mansuar in the West Papua region, Seahorse Homestay has a terrace and sea views.

Towels and bed linen are available in the homestay.

Breakfast is available, and includes American, Asian and vegan options. The owner is a wonderful man who always helps out wherever he can. We had some amazing game nights and day trip adventures with him. The location is perfect and we loved that there are only 2 bungalows so it's really private and quiet. The bungalow itself is simple but has all you need, same with the shared bathrooms. Also the food is amazing! All in all we had a wonderful time and would have loved to stay longer.

Guests at Paparisa Homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Kri, like hiking. Paparisa homestay was amazing! Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life. The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :) Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!

Located in Besir in the West Papua region, Nyanse Homestay - Raja Ampat features a terrace.

The homestay offers bed linen, towels and laundry service.

Guests at the homestay can enjoy an Asian breakfast, and breakfast in the room is also available. There is a coffee shop, and packed lunches are also available. We really loved staying at Nyanse homestay! Food is plentiful (3 main meals + snack time at 4:30pm), you will definitely not starve here and everything is delicious. Their overwater bungalows, located inside Gam’s particular mangroves, are spacious, clean, comfortable and equipped with hammocks to enjoy the best sunset. Bathroom and shower are shared but still very good. We highly recommend doing the tours they offer. Ferdinand, the homestay’s owner, knows the best snorkeling places and will be your guide in the water. We really enjoyed snorkeling with him and all the underwater life he showed us. Even one night he took a torch to explore the nightlife around the mangroves, we found so many creatures! You can also do snorkel at night if you are adventurous enough. The homestay is placed between to villages that you can visit to see the local life, I even played football with the kids and had so much fun. It is also possible to go see the Red Birds of Paradise, it’s less than a 30min walk that you do with a guide in the morning before sunrise. Just know that these birds are more active during a certain time of the year. Alvaro, Ferdinand’s son, can help at times with communication as he is the one that speaks fairly good English. All in all, staying at Nyanse was a beautiful local experience that we highly recommend. Thanks so much for such a amazing time!

With free WiFi, this guest house offers a cable TV, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and fridge. Towels and bed linen are offered in the guest house. This guest house is allergy-free and non-smoking. The owners were extremely helpful with organizing trips, answering questions, giving advice on places to stay. The breakfasts were always delicious and varied. They were very knowledgable about the region and were well connected. They arrainged a good scooter at a fair price. A great first landing spot off of the ferry from Sorong. I have already booked my second stay when back from the outer islands to prepare for the return ferry trip. International travelers will be happy here.

The area is popular for Birdwatching and sightseeing tours can be arranged. This homestay has water sports facilities and car hire is available. You can engage in various activities, such as snorkeling and canoeing. The property offers diving facilities onsite. Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! Don’t compare it to any other parts of Indonesia (certainly not...
