They explain everything in detail, give you great accommodation and answer any questions you may have. They also explain alternatives for budget travellers, such as local bus routes. They also explained the route to the volcano without a guide very well, even though they provide a guiding service themselves.

I loved the small cottage right next to the lake and the balcony to relax on. The bed was very comfortable with warm duvet. There was a fan but I didn't need it as the the weather was just nice. I loved the shower's very good water pressure and warm water. Some more there was a warm welcome as soon as I got off the ferry and the helpful staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay right up until I stepped back on the ferry. Loved the breakfast so much! Very tasty, filling and healthy.

The owner was very friendly and helpful with organising transportation and our trip to Siberut to stay with the Mentawai Tribe (highly recommend this, if you're looking for an adventure off the beaten track). Everything looked exactly like in the pictures, the view is fantastic and the location just outside Padang means you can reach everything within 10-15 minutes by car/motorbike, but it's still quiet and a good place to relax and plan your trip. The food prepared by the owner tastes fantastic and is reasonably priced. All in all, we felt very well looked after and would definitely visit again.

I just got back from a 2 night , 3 day trip that I booked with Jhony. I found the trip to be a fantastic experience! We were lucky enough to see 14 Orangutans in the wild , including a large male and a couple of mothers with their babies. Also various other big troops of monkeys, monitor lizards and many varieties of birds. I have not seen so much wildlife in one place during many previous treks over the world 😍 Jhony is a great guide and is very passionate about the conservation of the jungle.His assistant, the young Lana also really looked after us and will make a great guide in the future, for sure. We were provided with all the food we could eat which was local and delicious, and to stay in the jungle at two different camps with all of the wildlife surrounding was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended

Staff were great for organising trips. Super close to the start of the treks and a lovely view of the river. Staff helped book the tours and transport in and out of Bukit Lawang.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They also helped us arrange the most incredible trek in the jungle. A very unique stay. All of the staff was attentive, the cook was very sweet and made great meals, and everyone really paid attention to our needs and safety during the trek.

Super happy we stayed here. Very beautiful and clean cottage directly in front of a private beach with corals and lots of fish. Perfect for snorkeling and you can rent masks there. The restaurant was also great with nice staff. Borja and his wife super chill and helpful. Fully recommended!

Guests can make use of the picnic area or the barbecue, or enjoy views of the lake and river. I did the 2 day/1 night Trek. The 2 guides Rian and Santa were the best guides I’ve encountered anywhere in all my years of traveling. They were so kind, funny and thoughtful. The food on the trek was phenomenal and it really was a wonderful experience. The property is great, with a beautiful lush green garden.

Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. This is a wonderful guest house in a peaceful location, a 30 minute walk along the river. Porters are available for a small fee. A fabulous view into the jungle. Arif, Riski and the girls in the kitchen provide a friendly, laid-back atmosphere and create amazing meals. All the guests eat dinner together, a great communal experience. Some of the rooms have outside jungle bathrooms. Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Indonesia.
