Good coffee, so many flavours, so much space and light. The area was peacefull.

This was, without question, our favourite stay of the whole trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into something very special. Marc, his son Harry, and the rest of their family are restoring a magnificent old house set in a beautiful riverside landscape, with ancient trees, a small chapel on the grounds, and views of the river from the bedroom windows. The house itself is somewhere between timeworn and lovingly renewed — full of character, a place that breathes history but feels alive. Their dog Noah, a charming and friendly dalmatian, held court from the living room chair and added even more soul to the place. It was the only spot on our journey where our baby could sleep peacefully in the room while we were able to relax elsewhere in the house. For any parents travelling with a toddler, that’s priceless. But most of all, we’ll remember the people: a wonderful evening spent chatting with Marc and another guest, Brian, who shared captivating stories of his past at sea — a moment of genuine connection, like visiting friends rather than staying in a guesthouse. This is not a polished hotel — it’s a living project, full of soul, and it deserves to be supported. We truly hope more travellers will find their way here and help this beautiful vision thrive.

Located in the village of Adare, 19 km from Limerick, Adare Country House features a garden, terrace and shared lounge with TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout and free private parking is also provided. We loved everything about the Adair country house. The location was perfect as we could walk downtown in just a few minutes. The hosts Eileen and Denis were an absolute delight, as they were kind, helpful and great conversationalists. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting in the bright breakfast room. We travelled as two couples, and there was a comfortable room where we could play cards in the evening.

Limerick and is just a few minutes from Adare village making it an ideal tourist base for exploring the West of Ireland and the Shannon region. I had a fantastic experience! The hospitality was exceptional, with a responsive host who went above and beyond to accommodate some specific requests I had. The location was convenient, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Additionally, the hotel boasts a stunningly beautiful territory and the rooms are thoughtfully designed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay with outstanding service

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. There was coffee and tea in the room, and milk in the family fridge. This is a beautiful home, and Naveen is a super host.
