She not only shared valuable recommendations on places to visit but also took the time to chat with us whenever we met, making us feel truly at home. She was genuinely interested in getting to know us and also told us lot of things about Goa, which made our stay even more special. Her hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated. Very friendly and helpful hosts, lovely dogs:-). Had a very relaxing and nice week at Hilias Retreat. Also enjoyed Ferns at Kate‘s restaurant next to Hilias very much.

There was nothing I needed or asked which presented a problem. From my taxi meeting me at the airport to the purchase of bottled mineral water for me for my room (the cost of both reimbursed to Austin by me of course taxi was only 350 INR). Austin is a wonderful kind gentle human with whom it is a joy to interact. Austin is FULL of local knowledge and superb recommendations for Bogmallo Beach (which is less than 10mins stroll), fresh strong yummy ginger Chai and Omelette breakfast (at Savita's) and the most incredible palak dal and crunchy veg salad I've ever tasted (in the delicious restaurant Seagull John's). Both establishments are right on Bogmallo Beach.

Alba Rooms Palolem Rosebuds is located just 30 metres from the Palolem Beach and 100 metres from Palolem Bus Station. Free WiFi access is available in the rooms of the property. The rooms look exactly like on photos and the place is great. Mr Sanjay is a great host and we will be back for sure.
