I would also recommend people who are interested in the aurora borealis this place offers the perfect location, You have to just stand in your backyard when there are clear skies you get lucky to spot them. The kitchen was well equipped, A common dining and living area with plenty of board games and not to forget the wonderful acoustic guitar. Overall I highly recommend this place if you are looking for accommodation around Gullfoss falls.

The room was very cozy and warm, with all functioning household appliances to keep you warm and help you in the kitchen. Everything was very clean and organized. The location is beautiful and practical, with markets and gas stations nearby and best of all, the lady host is extremely nice, patient and sweet. It has been the best place we have stayed in all of our trip and we could not recommend it more! Thank you so much to the hostess for being so friendly and gracious to my mother and I. The guest house has private entrance. The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.
