A unique place in Sigiriya, managed by lovely people! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. We got a welcome drink during check in, could get in our rooms a bit earlier than check in time, and the breakfast was amazing. Every morning it was a joy to go to breakfast and try typical Sri Lankan dishes. The hotel is a bit further (10 min walk) from the restaurants, it’s a walk on a dark street, but gives you the beauty of the seeing the stars. Or you can take a tuk tuk :-) Would come back at any time!

Lovely staff. It’s a family that runs this place. Everyone was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. The place is a little off the main road and Saman and his son always helped us with getting around. They also helped us with booking all the tours, taxis and tuktuk drivers. The room was very clean, with A/c. Very nice breakfast with great view to their lovely green garden.

Extremely clean, spacious room with pool view. Pool was great! There is a lake also at the property. Management was helpful and friendly. Amazing safari was also arranged by them. We never expected such warmth, but their care felt like family. We also chose to have dinner from them — it was absolutely finger-licking good! If I ever get the chance to visit Sigiriya again, Dew Ashi will definitely be my choice.

After somewhat difficult arrival because of the night rain and small car we had :-) we were kindly welcomed by our nice host Kumari, with whom we had an really interesting evening conversations during our stay. The room is nice and equipped. The breakfast was very good, freshly prepared, with local specialities. Located in a small settlement inside the jungle, one can really enjoy the nature around - and visit Sigiriya and surroundings.

The hosting family was very friendly and helpful with any advices. The food was homemade and delicious, fruits and juices were made of fresh fruits from the garden. Fantastic value for money.

Incredible stay. Very clean and comfortable, with working AC and a ceiling fan. Both warm and cold water for the shower. Most notably, the hosts were fantastic! So welcoming and so helpful. When we arrived they drove us to a scooter rental so we could get our scooter. The one day we had to leave early to go to Sigiriya for the day and they packed us a breakfast to go. Dinner at their restaurant was affordable and delicious. On the morning we left, they drove us to the bus station and stayed with us to make sure we caught the right bus. If you’re staying in Dambulla you should definitely stay here. These may be the most helpful hosts I’ve ever had while travelling across Southeast Asia.
