Great location for walking to Little Adam’s Peak, and access to the nine arches bridge is right across the road. Our host was very caring and the room was a very generous size. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching life down below on the street.

We had a very tasty Sri Lankan breakfast in the accommodation, which also included coffee. We also took advantage of the dinner option - delicious Sri Lankan. The hotel is in a quiet part, not in the city center, but the owners provided us with a tuk-tuk transfer from the station (free) to the center and back. There is a scooter rental option at the accommodation. The family is very friendly, nice and very helpful. Among other things, they also arranged for us a share taxi to Udawalawe, a jeep driver in Udawalawe, etc. Wave to everyone and see you later!

The views were absolutely incredible. It is in a nice quiet location about a 5 minute walk from the Main Street. We spent our mornings relaxing on our balcony overlooking the mountains and spotting the different birds in the area ! The breakfast was also outstanding. There are games in the room which are useful for rainy days. The host and hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helped us plan activities & arranged any rides that we needed. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer !

The homestay features mountain views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. I stayed in the downstairs room which was large and bright with big windows and a great view. The bed was comfortable. The excellent breakfast was served on a covered terrace, again with fantastic views across the valley. There were lovely sunsets. It is on top of a hill so a little difficult to access. I had a motorbike so it was easy for me, but if you are relying on tuk-tuks some of them won't go all the way to the top, which leaves you with a short but very steep climb to the accommodation. This would be hard if you have a lot of luggage. Best to contact Shiraz the owner as he can arrange a tuk-tuk to the door. The reward for being on the hill is peace and quiet and a lovely view.
