My room was comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities were clean and hot showers available. I took the bus from Georgetown which was quite long but very easy to do. I walked to the national park in 15 minutes and used Grab to do another trip which again was easy. I loved that I could cook in the kitchen available for guests! I felt very welcome so thanks to all who work there.

The accommodation offers a housekeeping service and a shared lounge for guests. Best location for going to multiple tourist locations. Room looks exactly as in the picture. They even provided an extra mattress for my brother and all the extra amenities! Lovely people, oh they also gave us fresh bread, 1st day was coffee bread and the other day was orange bread. Amazing! Highly recommend this to people who are indecisive and have hard time deciding, like me. I went through multiple hotels and home stays and finally decided on this one and I must say, I’m blessed to have stayed here. Thanks to the owners for being so kind and nice. 💕

The place was amazing!!! We had a great time. The hosts Howie and Amit were AWESOME! They were very kind and helpful suggesting places to go and foods to eat. Every little thing that we might need had been thought of and provided....And then some. Not to forget the fun we had with the cats. Both Garfield and Bobby were a joy to watch. I would visit Malaysia again just to stay at Cocoa Mews. It was not just the best place to stay in Malaysia....It was home.

There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. Every room has a patio with garden views. We had an amazing time at Sea Lion. Not only were the hosts friendly and made us feel at home, but the house itself was very clean, and had everything we needed. Birdy (the resident cat) was also very sweet. The location was nice and quiet, being a bit out of town (but only a 20-40 minute bus ride away, depending on traffic). There were quite a few popular restaurant areas near the house. Great place to stay, would 10/10 recommend!

It is a perfect place for people wanting to escape the touristy hotspots on Penang Island. We loved it.
