The staff at the front desk are very friendly and’s helpful with booking every activity available at fair prices, and departing straight from the hotel. Free shuttle car to the bus station on checkout day was a bonus. Also if you book a private boat to Lata Berkoh, the dedicated boarding location is just down the grassy hill behind the hotel.

We had a beautiful, large, and very clean room on the 2nd floor. The room had a beautiful view of nature. The room was perfect after a jungle hike!

Situated in Taman Negara, Balai Serama Guesthouse offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation. Surrounded by lush greenery, it features a restaurant and provides free parking space on site. Great Location. Beautiful and on the river. Really nice garden. Great service and amazing host. In my opinion this is the best place to stay if you are visiting the rain forest. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style and home cooked food, very delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

It was a very lovely guest house with basic but well maintained facilties. The balcony door in my room had super cute hand-made paintings of local animals! And there was a family of kitties that seemed to live on the premises! There was also a nice, outdoor area but I didn't get to use it because of my busy schedule. However, the biggest plus of this place was its host. He helped me to figure out my chaotic plan and arranged my tour and a taxi in a way that I was able to catch my bus to the next destination, which at first seemed impossible. Amazing!
