Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The homestay is in a perfect location, with only 15 minutes walk to Thrangu Tashi Yangtse monastery. The view of the surrounding hills and villages was spectacular. The homestay staff was very attentive and provided authentic tasty food. The guy from the UK took us to look around the villages and introduced the meaningful innovative program to install water tank and pipeline for the village inhabitants. The unique experience brough us a closer look to the life of the local Tamang people.

Front dest manager Om and his team are amazing! Very kind and welcoming.

I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

I will definitely visit this place again when coming back to Nepal 🇳🇵 it’s close to one of my favorite shop, the peacock shop, where they makes cool paper products 😍

With city views, Laxmi Homestay with main square view is situated in Bhaktapur and has a restaurant and room service. The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This homestay is located a few meters away from Durbar Square, and you get a great view of it from the rooftop. It's not a hotel; there are people actually living in the other rooms. The host, Navin, is a very nice guy who really loves what he does, and he will introduce you to his family. If you want, his mom can prepare you traditional Newari meals, and he can also be your personal tour guide, taking you to know the city and the vicinities; he showed me places I would have totally missed if I were on my own. During my stay, I was basically his buddy, met his friends, etc. Overall, the only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer; Navin is the best host ever and he made my time in Bhaktapur so interesting and meaningful.

It is set 20 km from Pashupatinath and offers bicycle parking. Free private parking is available and the homestay also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The food was excellent and breakfast was included. There was solar powered hot water.

The location was great! 10 minute walk to Swayambhunath. It was quiet at night. The host was a wonderful gentleman. I had spent 3 months in Nepal and my last two nights were at this spot. If I’m lucky enough to be able to visit Kathmandu again I’ll certainly stay here.
