The room is comfortable and kept it warm (we stayed in May). Cindy and Schalk are amazing! For us who are super shy, they explained us everything and made us feel welcome. The toilet is not in the room, but is just for you so it was perfect. You can use the kitchen if you like and there is a lot of space for parking. Last but not least, the view from the room is amazing!

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very pretty aesthetic of the place. I felt like I was in a cottage core style magazine. Everything was clean, the little flower garden in between the rooms/kitchen/bathroom is absolutely lovely, there is wifi, there is a TV, books to enjoy, a very nice kitchen, the bathrooms were the kind you enjoy having a shower in. There was noone else staying the night we went so it was very very nice but it would have been lovely anyway. There is also a very cute friendly cat called Taco, which was just the cherry on top. One of my favourite stays in NZ so far.

At the homestay, some units are soundproof. This is without a doubt, a hidden gem. Alice is just the most wonderful hostess. Her house is unbelievable. But that all pales, compared to the view you have from the back deck. The photos do not do it justice. What a vista. Best sleep I had on my entire trip. Thankyou, Alice.

Host was very helpful and friendly. The place is part of ranch style house, but separated by a locked door. I highly recommend.

There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The homestay features family rooms. it is advertised as a "hostel". We were accomodated in a very big house which is also inhabited by the owner i guess. We had a private room with comfy beds and shared bathroom which is very clean a beautiful. For the price i rate it 10/10
