They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyinging ourselves. Her breakfasts are delicious. Make sure you go with a big appetite! And the pool was very refreshing. I truly cannot think of one negative thing to say. (Except my husband would say the bed was too hard.) I would gladly return. If I could give 6 stars, I would. The photos don't do this lovely place justice.

Much better than on the pictures. It has everything you need for a great stay. We felt like the owners ( some duke or very successful merchants from 100 years ago) left it for us to a couple of days. We truly enjoyed it.

A perfect place to unwind and experience the beauty of the Douro Valley.
