The location is also great - about a 20-minute walk to the historical center and the Black Church, but the streets are so pleasant that the walk felt much shorter. One great bonus was the small fridge in the room, which I found particularly useful since I enjoy keeping my drinks ice cold. It’s a small detail, but it really added to the convenience of my stay. The staff were wonderful - very kind and always ready to help. Overall, the price for this room is incredible given its quality. If you’re looking for a cosy and affordable place to stay in Brașov, I highly recommend this hotel!

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Braşov, MER Guest House B&B is a guest house surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. The property features a garden, shared lounge and parking on-site among other facilities. It is located 1.5 km from The Black Tower and provides a 24-hour front desk. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Everyone in MER was very nice and it was worth thw visit for that alone. The location is amazing, just a 10 minute walk from the historical center while being surrounded by nature. It really is the best of both worlds. Breakfast was somewhat limited in variety when compared with a hotel, but the scrambled eggs made specifically for us made up for that.

Staff was very friendly and helpful: they allowed us to check in earlier, then one of the ladies- she spoke German- came and gave us directions to the tourist area of town and suggestions for lunch locations, internet password. Breakfast was quite substantial!!!! I mean it. For a dinner or lunch close by -it is a pizza place advertisement on the street ( but has full restaurant menu) behind the corner few meters down the road - good prices, nice setting and clean. Hotel staff was really, really nice. Room has balcony with flowers.... love it ! overall very very good hotel and clean. Price, comparing with other B&B and hotels in that town, the best deal. Bus station is right there, also. We travel by bus while in Romania, so this detail was very important for us.

The room was very very spacey, well considered facilities and very friendly hosts. They have a dog which is super friendly too. Free coffee and tea (the black coffee tastes great btw). Highly recommended. AC works great though it wasn't much needed.
