Helwas is a small family hotel with a great, friendly atmosphere and top accommodation. We were group of 5 and we had amazing time at Helwas! Located in Nungwi, on the quieter north east coast of Zanzibar, Game Fish Lodge is situated along the beachfront and features an in-house restaurant, bar and a sun terrace. Free private parking is offered on site. This place is really amazing. It’s like a little quite paradise not far from most overturist places in Zanzibar. The view to the ocean is beautiful, also you can swim in nice and clean pool and there is a sandbank nearby. If you want to swim direct you will need watershoes. In Game fish lodge you can relax in privat and enjoy nice atmosphere. If you like big hotel resorts, many people and activities at hotel, this place is not good choice for you! Actually we felt like at home there and it was because of the owners. Lesley and Colin are really special people. Very friendly, kind, with true passion to their job. They dont want only take your money, they really care about yourself and want to your holidays was perfect. We really apreciated so many good advices which we got, and also so many interesting informations about Zanzibar and living there. We definetely recommended to taste a delicious diner. Also the breakfast was very good included local fruits. The room was simple and clean with enough space. Unfourtunatelly we had a short time here, wish to come back one day.
