The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are very nice and with an excellent view. In general everything is clean and tidy. The personal is super kind and the breakfast is super fresh and delicious.

Hannas Hostel is amongst the best hostels I stayed at over a 2 month trip in the Balkans. The staff and volunteers are great, they've done well to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere there, which is reflected in the good mood guests are in, and makes for a positive social place. It's well located, they will help organise things if you need, and the buffet breakfast is incredible. I'm glad I stayed there and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

First and foremost - the owners! Absolutely wonderful couple. So kind and helpful - I will forever be grateful for their support after my little accident ❤️ The place is brand new, clean, spacious and feels like home. Perfect location - right next to a supermarket and close to everything. They have showers that are separate from the toilet, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a water machine - everything a traveller would need and appreciate. But most of all their hospitality - they will look after you from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. Excellent value!

I really enjoyed my time at Maya hostel, you are greeted with a warm welcome and it’s easy to make friends as there are so many social events going on that you can participate in. One of my favourite activities was the quiz night hosted by one of the volunteers, Nick. I can also recommend the rafting tour run my Miri, the owner of the hostel. Fresh and local breakfast is served daily, which can be enjoyed in the cosy common area or outside in the garden, while taking in the beautiful view of the characteristic houses of Berat with the castle in the background. Ebony and Courtney both really kindly helped me with directions for getting to the bus terminal and were knowledgeable about the bus journeys available to get to other places in albania. The volunteers and all the staff do an excellent job of showing you a good time, answering any questions and hosting events. Big thanks to everyone, especially Courtney, Ebony, Nick and of course Miri. I will be back (hopefully sooner rather than later).

The location was excellent , almost in the center next to old town and the castle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in big portion and so yummy. Best price in Berat for solo travels. Highly recommend !
