The location of the hotel is perfect, it is near the subway, and by walking you can see the shopping street which is very cultural and with lots of local food. When we first arrive, we thought we are lost because the map is showing us to a small alley, but it turns that there is really a little hotel there. The staffs are helpful and really try to understand us and communicate with us. Thumbs up for the great hospitality. The rooms are small but i think it is suitable for the price given too. We were able to go visit lots of places i think because of the hotel location is very strategic and the staff help us book a car and explain to the driver about our itinerary. We will recommend this room to others and we wish to visit Beijing again some day.

A Perfect Stay – Thanks to Sui Nan! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was a new traveler in Beijing and felt completely lost at first. Then I met Sui Nan, who manages Happy Bear Youth Hostel. She was like a miracle for me – helping me from the hostel to The Great Wall of China and staying with me like an old friend. Without her, my trip would have been very difficult, but because of her kindness, I even caught my train on time. This hostel is very well organized, clean, and comfortable. It has a gaming zone, a nice café, and everything nearby. But the best part is the people – thanks to Sui Nan, I felt that in China everyone knows how to love and care, no matter your religion, race, or country. I will always see Sui Nan as my friend, and I strongly recommend all tourists to stay at Happy Bear Youth Hostel. It’s not just a place to sleep – it feels like home.

The bathroom/shower was always clean as well as the common area. I loved that they always had hot water for guests and the use of the microwave, and, most of all, I forgot some really important things and they sent me my package to my next destination in a timely fashion. I’m so grateful for the staff there. They have so many guests coming and going, I know they’re really busy and get all kinds of guests, but they’re really kind and patient.
