There were rooms with two beds in each rather than the typical tall stack bunks in hostels which felt more spacious. I appreciated the towels included and the overall living space was huge. Only a 10 minute walk from the main Hbf and next to the main shopping mall (Forum). There is no reception, it operates by you getting a code for the door and for a lockbox to get the keys to the apartment. But, the WhatsApp number is responsive and the housekeeping lady was very friendly and let me store my luggage early. Duisburg is not a huge hub and it is a bit of off season (getting into later fall) so the place was not fully booked, I stayed for 4 nights and had the two occupancy room to myself for three of them. The place is very clean and orderly, normally I wear shoes everywhere in hostels but you can tell that this place is cleaned intentionally and on a regular basis with good products and good technique.

The atmosphere was quirky and fun. The bunk was comfortable. The shower room and toilet room were both clean and worked well, the showers were always hot. The location was within walking distance of an U Bahn entrance.

It was very clean both the rooms and the bathrooms, it was very easy to access, fast check-in, nice staff, great location (with supermarkets and restaurants just across the street, transportation routes). The rooms or at least the one I stayed in, had an iron, hairdryer and a little space that could be used as a kitchen (without oven).

This contemporary hostel is centrally located in Düsseldorf’s Friedrichstadt district. Just 15 minutes’ walk from the Old Town, it offers comfortable rooms with free WiFi.
