I highly recommend Casa del Sol! One of my favorite hostels due to the atmosphere! Staff and people here are so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hostel offers surf lessons, yoga sessions, and private Spanish courses. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. They have a well equipped shared kitchen. Excellent gourmet free breakfast! The hostel is located on the quiet side of the beach! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach, a 7 minute walk to the grocery store, and a 10 minute walk to the party side of the beach. People are just happy in Montanita. Such a nice atmosphere that it's hard to leave!

I like how the place is far enough from the center to be quiet and more in nature. The room is comfortable, with it's own bathroom and a kitchen to use. Omar is friendly and has a lot of good useful information.

I loved everything! I would have stayed for months if it was possible for me! Pablo, Cleeve, and Flor were just wonderful! They are so available for us! Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 10! I was planning on traveling the coast but I didn't go further than Montañita! About a 5 minute walk on the beach to Manglaralto and about 20 minute walk on the beach to Montañita. You'll never want leave! 😉

Everyone is super nice here, while the hostel is still super chill. Good mixture of social and relaxing. Love the rooftop as well, very tranquil view.

I liked it, the hotel has a nice garden, the rooms are comfortable, all the furniture in teak wood and fast internet. It was what I was looking for, a quiet place within walking distance to the beach. The managers Susan and Ruben are very charismatic people.

The lady who works there is really nice. she let me stay after the check out time to get the bus in the afternoon. She was always helpful when i needed something. Is close to the beach, there is a supermarket really close. Has kitchen and filtered drinking water. Small place not too many rooms so its quiet.

Sapa Inka is located on the beachfront in Montañita, 80 metres from Montañita Beach.

Absolutely great stay. Our room was clean and comfortable with netflix tv and AC (most importantly). Douglas and his family are really lovely people and we are so grateful to them for our stay - the children are so cute and fun to be around!
