I’ll start by the staff, because they’re really nice, helpful and smily! And that is not very common in hostels in France 😅 Special Thanks to Miryam (hope I spelled it correctly) who was extremely helpful to me The location is in a calm neighborhood, but just a walk (3mn) to tram and metro! With many shops and restaurants around, and the river side not far, I think it is super well located The room was not super spacious but very sufficient for 8 people with luggage and all! Every bed has a drawer to store the bags (enough for two hand luggage) It was super clean, common toilets and baths too! The room had a view on the street but no noise

I stayed at Hostel Lyon Centre and had an amazing experience. The view was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast and dinner meals were both very affordable and delicious. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time. The rooms and common areas were kept very clean, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I booked a room on the upper floor, and the toilets and bathrooms there were also very clean and well-maintained. One thing to note for newcomers: the hostel is located in the hill area, which gives it those amazing views. Walking up can be a bit of a challenge, but the best way to reach it is by taking the funicular from Vieux Lyon to Minimes – Théâtre Romain. From there, it’s just a 2-minute downhill walk, which makes it super convenient. Overall, a wonderful stay – I’d highly recommend it!
