Great facilities, breakfast just splendid, I was so happy to be in this hostel, with flowers, clean bathrooms, not cheap shampoos, lotions, with a really big and well equiped kitchen. Who owns this place should be somebody very professional, sensitive, who just knows how to make things in a great, welcoming way

everything the staff were super helpful and friendly. the cleaning and breakfast staff were amazing, everything is cleaned often and to a high standard. the rooms we stayed in were perfect breakfast choices were good and the hostel had everything you needed for a great stay :) best hostel I’ve stayed in Central America

We had a really nice stay at Mazaryk. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable for a great price. It’s quiet and out of town but not too far walking distance. The kitchen was great to cook your own meals in and there’s a nice terrace to chill and watch the sunset on. Really friendly staff who went above and beyond. Modern comfortable hostel in a great location right in the centre of town. The location is close to the main attractions and close by, you’ll find a variety of restaurants and cafés. The dorms are clean with big beds with privacy curtains, power sockets and lights. Everyone has one locker for important things. The courtyard and roof terrace are a great place to relax. The hostel also provides a water filter, a bar serving some food, and a selection of coffee and tea. Breakfast was included in my room but I had to leave super early. They offered me to get it ready as a lunch box instead which went without problems and saved me on my long bus ride. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful and able to communicate in English for those not speaking Spanish. They offer 24-7 reception and once back from my salsa night in las palmas at about one in the morning the friendly guy let me in without problems.

The hostel is gorgeous. The terrace has a lovely view of the volcano, and it has plenty of spots to chill. WiFi is strong. Beds are incredibly comfortable. And the complimentary breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Overall, one of the best hostels I've stayed in my life!

Is this the best hostel in Guatemala? I was so comfortable here, the staff are just delightful (Rodrigo and Jennifer) and the beds are private and comfortable, with privacy curtains. A delicious heathy breakfast, rooftop hangout area and a cafe on site, coworking space... it's just perfect!

The hostel has a good location and the curtains in the beds make the difference to make some privacy. I needed to leave earlier one day for a tour and they let us to grab breakfast before the normal time. Sandra was very helpful to me. I asked for tips for restaurants etc and she would give me the information I needed. Also, the shuttles booked through the hostel have a honest price. Be in mind that in Guatemala the prices vary from place to place. After climbing Acatenango, I returned to the hostel for shower (paid a fee, of course, as I didn't have any reservation that time) and asked for help to get a shuttle, as all contacts that I had tried were full. Sandra was very kind and made some calls, managing to find one for me in the last-minute.

The location was incredible, just next to the Capuchinas and right in the center. You can tell that the hostel is new:everything is sooo well taken care of, very clean and tidy. Very silent and calm. Young people mainly!! Felt very safe being a solo female traveler. Veery comfy bed. Oh they had movie night! Christmas movie, great night indeed.

Central location. We booked with very short notice due to another accommodation falling through and they not only accepted the booking but also gave us an early check-in! Great customer service. Shared bathroom facilities and room were clean and good value. Room was also very nice.
