Hostels in Koh Ta kiev Island

I seriously loved this place. I originally planned to stay 3 night, but extended to 5 nights and even then didn't want to leave. I love how back-to-the-basics it was, it's like going back in time. I initially slept in a Tent, but then switched to hammock, and can definitely recommend it. They are much more comfortable than I thought, and they have super nice spots under the trees There are some tracks in the jungle for hiking, not super long ones (Max 2h one way), but in a very beautiful forest. It was also very social place and all people that I met were amazing.

This was the perfect place to relax for a couple of days. The accomodation is very simple, so be prepared for that. Nak is a wonderful host and obviously loves the island and hosting his guests. His partner cooks all the meals and everything I had was very good. The island is a very short boat trip from the mainland and Nak sent me directions on how to get to the pick-up shortly after I booked my stay. He also arranged for my trip back to Sihanoukville. The accomodation is basic so here’s a list of things to think about: - the only power comes from a generator which runs from 6-9 pm, so bring a power bank for your phone and a torch for the night - there’s no wifi but I had a good connection with my phone - don’t forget the mosquito repellent and a cream for insect bites Overall I enjoyed my stay at Nak’s Shack and can recommend it.

The area was very convenient for us to get to another location. Very clean place & helpful staff too. The hotel is placed slightly on top (reclining) but easily tuk tuk can get you up

Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, 2 bathrooms with hot shower right outside the room. Free towel, but there was no shampoo or shower gel but that's fine, did not bother me as I had my own. Great location, shops and main street right behind the corner. Great food and coffee. You can buy a boat ticket to the islands. Highly recommend

Really loved everything about it. It is adjacent to a resort where you can have a beer to see the most amazing sunset. With snacks! A small shop that has coffee, pot noodles... But you do need your own transportation as it is far from everything
