Very welcoming space. Staff are incredible. Paul can speak 7 languages comfortably and gives the best and honest trekking advice. Easy to get washing done. Small but lovely breakfasts. Really loved this place and thought it was good value for money!

This is a great hostel - really nice courtyard and chill out area with hammocks. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but tasty, we loved the little dog and the staff were super nice. Also amazing value!

I booked my stay at BIG MOUNTAIN on a recommendation anda was not disappointed. The rooms have super confortable bed and nice hot showers. Breakfast every morning includes yohurt anda cereals. Almost forgot to tell: There is an enormous CLIMBING WALL

The staff, Paul and Mary, were so welcoming and friendly. Paul, a mountaineer, was super helpful with recommendations for hikes and day walks. The bed was comfortable and the internet worked well. Breakfast was great, and the coffee was top-notch and freshly made. Plenty of space to dry out a wet tent or air out sweaty boots. Perfect spot for before or after heading into the hills!

I liked everything. No complaints whatsoever. Very friendly staff, it felt fairly new or kept in good shape in comparison to a lot of my rentals in Peru. highly recommend it! And a great choice for solo travellers. Clean, very kind and friendly staff. If I go back , I'll definitely come back here. There is a terrace as well! I only figured it out on my last morning sadly!

The breakfast was a real treat. Carla was an excellent host. The location although far from town was exactly what I needed for some peace and quiet, to ground and acclimate to the altitude. The garden area was perfect for laying in a hammock, reading my book and doing my morning exercises.
