FATIMA and DIAGO are so nice , they made our stay so confy , the hostal seemed like home, we enjoyed staying long hours in the house .. in the graden , taking our coffee .. the kitchen is well equiped and the house contains everything that you need and more ... we defenitly recommend it. the bathroom was like in the 5* hotels, also the beach was 5mn walking , the old town 10mn walking and the strip 20mn walking we did not need to move our car at all.

I booked because the name caught my eye and this was the right choice for Albufeira. The location is great, atmosphere is wonderful, beds are comfortable, terrace is a nice space to chill. Yes, the kitchen could be bigger for the number of people staying there and loving to cook for themselves. But that's OK, everyone gets along very well.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at Anchor House! I want to express my sincere gratitude to the incredibly polite, smiling, and hospitable hosts of the hostel. They were always available, helped with everything I needed, and were very accommodating in every situation. I arrived late at night, and they welcomed me with a smile, showed me everything in detail, and kindly placed me in a separate, beautiful, and newly renovated room so I wouldn’t disturb my future roommates. That was very thoughtful and considerate! I especially appreciated the opportunity to work peacefully on my laptop outside, in the garden gazebo, accompanied by birdsong. The atmosphere here is wonderfully calming, perfect for both relaxation and focus. The people staying at the hostel were also very friendly and pleasant, which added to the overall warm and homely feeling of the place. I would gladly return here again! The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Good size kitchen and well equipped. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around.
