Great location - less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Close to main street and also close to a 24h laundry service, which is really useful. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have listed all the eateries on Google maps and were generally helpful with information. They also spoke excellent English, which is really nice when as a foreigner you don't speak much Chinese. The hostel is quiet and extremely clean - while I'm used to well-cleaned accommodation in Taiwan, this was just extra level. Bathrooms and toilets were especially clean. Dorms were quiet and comfortable. Not too much aircondition that would make it cold, and also not too little which would make it hot or smelly with many people sleeping at the same time. Each bed had a spacious locker (not for a huge backpack, but more than enough for a small/mid-size one and valuables. Also a curtain to give you almost complete privacy, good bed lamp and power sockets. Small but convenient kitchen. Good to have reusable slippers, better for the environment. Hostel also has a café where you can buy coffee and some cakes.

The cheapest hostel in Taiwan. My room is only one double decker bed. With a big luggage container. And I'm alone in the room. The location is walking distance near the train and bus stations.few places to eat nearby the hostel. There's an electric fan inside the room if you don't want to use the Aircon. There's a washing machine and dryer that you can use for a reasonable price. Water dispenser. At the moment,all buses and tour buses were free. Just go to the bus station. Clean bathroom and toilet.

5mins walk to the train station, good size of the room and quite spacious bathroom. AC working properly. No window but this is easy guess from the pictures. Nothing to complain about. I truly recommend. Nice hall at the ground floor. Place quiet at night.

    Best hostel I‘ve had yet in Taiwan. Comfortable beds, really clean facilities and a nice atmosphere. The cute cafe downstairs is totally worth the (a tiny bit) higher prices. I‘d even recommend that cafe to someone who‘s just visiting Hualien.

    Spacious room. Curtains for the lower beds. Cozy atmosphere. Few types of tea available for the guests for free of charge. IKEA sharks as parts of decoration (joking but it was cute). Comfy armchairs in the common area. In general it was the best hostel during our 2 weeks trip around the island. Very good value for money.
