AIR CONDITIONING! Very clean, modern rooms, hot water, good common area, nice fresh breakfast, great friendly staff and great location. Go to Club Afrikando restaurant near by! Best restaurant I've been to in my 2 months in East Africa. Brisket short ribs were 10/10. Seriously incredible spot and only 3 minute walk away.

Its an excellent experience, located in the best place in the city center where all the good restaurants are. Also, the staff are really good, especially Mr.Ali at the reception is really friendly and helpful.. they wont annoy you with payments and flexible with the check out .. definitely comming back again !

    The hostel is a very safe, quite upscale neighbourhood, where I saw a lot of embassies or ambassador residences. The room was comfortable enough, especially when the A/C was on, which depended on other guests being cold or not. The breakfast was good, considering the price, and it helped get the day started with energy. The swimming pool is a great bonus, as it is very hot in Dar es Salaam, so a dip is always welcome.

    Absolutely loved this hostel! The owners and staff are the loveliest people. The location is great and very safe. There are cafes, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. 15min walk to the beach. The breakfast was really nice. I stayed in the female dorm and it was very clean and spacious. I will definitely be going back at the end of my trip!
