Everything! This accommodation was by far the best one we stayed at during our 3-week trip to Tanzania. It features a lot of facilities, including a large and very clean pool, beach volleyball net, slacklining, a treehouse, a bar and restaurant and very well-laid out sunbeds and umbrellas. The WiFi connection was great too. The food at the weekly Wednesday BBQ was abundant and very varied. Breakfast was very tasty, as expected. Overall a great stay 10/10!

very welcoming and helpful manager and staff. fantastic location on the beach, from the bed in the morning you can see the sunrise over the sea. very rich breakfast with many choices (I took: a very good fresh fruit juice, fruit salad, cappuccino, pancakes with peanut butter).

Amazing place to stay no matter if you travel alone or with your friends. The staff is very friendly, rooms are nice and food is amazing. There are a lot of young people from all over the world so it's always fun. Ocean is unbelievable and the beach is very close to the rooms. Definitely will come back.

The Sunny House is very well located, 2 Minutes walking to the beach and 5 minutes from the main road in the village. The room was very comfortable for me and clean; and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. They reacted very fast to all requests and gave many helpful advises. There are many possibilities to oragnize the stay on the island (esepcially if you like to explore it a bit more). I had great time and will come back for sure, when I'm in Sansibar again :) Thank you Sara and Axel, it was a pleasure to know you!

The location was in a typical village, which I thought had it’s charm! It is also just a couple of minutes walk to the Paje beach. The woman who welcomed us was extremely friendly, explained everything, even tried to speak a couple of words in Dutch to us haha. The room itself was very clean, nice, shower was good!

    Everything was perfect, its the best hostel ive stayed at, at this means a lot as ive stayed at over 100. Beautifull relaxed beach location, the vibe is great, close to page. Most of all, the staff is wonderfull, super helpfull, trustworthy and very very kind! I recomend it 100%. Its one of those places you could stay forever at, and really makes a huge difference to your stay in jambiani.

    The Hostel has the best vibes if you are travelling as a backpacker. The rooms are comfortable with AC which is the most required thing in Zanzibar. The host is really nice and will help you in all manner possible. The pool is good to chill out in the afternoon and the beach is hardly 2 minutes away.

    We booked for 3 nights and ended up staying over 2 weeks! We got lucky to be there at the time the hostel guests formed a really nice group, but when when quieter this place felt like an oasis of peace, relaxation and perfect holidays. The swimming pool is a blessing at any time of the day or night, the breakfast was so delicious, the staff was very kind. The location, hidden from the busy and touristy Paje, was perfect as it felt like coming back home to a comfy place. Very cheap accommodation. Definitely the best hostel in Zanzibar for me!
