Everything was amazing! I would say it is rather hotel then hostel😝 Especially access to a well-stocked kitchen and lounge, as well as the possibility of leaving luggage in a locked room before or after check-in or check-out. Very nice personel and good localization... I can recommend this place to everyone!

Top location and easy to access. Spacious lockers and the bunk bed was comfortable. The pod is quite private and allows for a good rest while enjoying the city.

This is an excellent place to stay in NYC. We walked from here to most of the main tourist hotspots or a subway station is very close too. The room was expected size for New York, but the three of us were very comfortable. The facilities were clean and had really cool artwork everywhere. The staff were lovely and accomodating and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Would absolutely stay here again, really great choice and value for money. Also had great security on the building and always feel secure and safe.

Look. You get what you pay for. These are cheap as hell hotels, so don’t go expecting much. In fact, reframe your thoughts and rather than bash the place for lack of amenities, small rooms, not hospital grade cleanliness, etc, appreciate that it’s cheap, you get what you need, and you’re near all the places you’d want to be in NYC. So if you start off with this frame of mind, as far as 1-star hotels go, this fits the bill perfectly lol I picked a double with no windows and a shared bathroom and it was fine. I wanted a bed, some place to keep my stuff while in town, and a bathroom to shower and shit. If your needs are similar to mine, then go ahead and book. As my rule, I bring shower shoes and a pillow case, and buy some cheap disinfecting wipes as a precaution for less than stellar cleanliness and I did use all of them except the case because I forgot and it made the place better for me to stay. Perhaps you could do the same. I saw the ladies cleaning the bathroom and mopping the floor so they do clean. I should note that this is an old building so take that into account. And the staff were friendly. No complaints in that department either.
