This place is kept very clean. For its price, the breakfast is sufficient. But compared to Samesun Hollywood that I stayed, the coffee truly needs improvement. The hot chocolate is good but it's gone quite fast without being resupplied in time. There are some homeless people by the beach but in general harmless and there are police patrol vehicles around.

Bed was so comfortable with two thick pillows, you also get a big towel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hostel looked amazing, big kitchen with everything you need and really nice spaces to chill near a fireplace. But most of all it was CLEAN! Always saw someone cleaning something, even at 9pm. Location very convenient, I just personally didn’t really like Santa Monica.

I liked that the personal answered fast and I could do the check-in without problems, the location is close to the airport and metro. The place was super clean!

The property is a beautiful old house a few hundred metres from the Hollywood Walk of fame but quiet and suburban. The staff were friendly and helpful, they have laundry for an additional charge, you can use the kitchen for your meals and there is an outdoor patio to enjoy them. It was lovely and quiet.

I stayed in this hostel when it was named the walk of Fame hostile back in 2017 and I was really impressed because you do have lockers that will fit a small suitcase even an expanding one plus extra height on there. They’ve added curtains around the bed for extra privacy, which I think is a fantastic thing and both genders have their own floor for bathroom and shower facilities. I don’t remember the changing room in my room before but it was a different room. I was in room 29 originally which didn’t have it but the lockers were kind of in a separate part of the room to the beds so I think each room has its own layout. I like the shelf and the light for the bed with the charge ports which were really handy and the only thing I disliked was the stairs going up and down - which are not the most user-friendly if you’ve got heavy luggage. However the pros so much outweigh the cons this is a minor inconvenience. The staff are absolutely fantastic and the location is a*. I would definitely stay here again.
