The location was idyllic for nature lovers, and the room was clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the delicious breakfast and the friendly service. CJ, the gardener was incredibly knowledgeable and made our stay even Merci If you sit in the hammock you may not want to leave. 😂

Garden was from paradise with loads of birds, butterflies and toads (at night). We were lucky as it was not busy when we were there so quiet outdoor kitchen and beautifully kept shared bathroom. You must try Teresa’s jerk pork a few yards down the road - she was great fun whenever we visited her - she might be the heart of Brighton Beach! We stayed in February 2025.

Marian is very nice and helps you if you have any problem. It’s a real hostel where you can feel that Marian and Anna welcome you warmly in their home. A lot of different people go there, be prepared to meet a lot of nice people !
