In Argentina, many hostels attempt to deceive tourists by applying an exchange rate that's far higher than a current rate to earn more money in peso terms. Basically a rip off. But as I recall, this hostel was one of the few that didn't do it to me and I really appreciate it because I know how rare it is especially in Argentina. And I am saying this after having traveled from south to north of the country. Breakfast presentation (display of the food) was cute, too. They also served a bit of freshly squeezed orange juice, just a little bit in portion, but again, it's super rare to find a hostel that does this in Argentina.

It offers free WiFi access in public areas and a daily buffet breakfast. Antigua Tilcara received the Traveller Choice 2014 award from Trip Advisor. I had a wonderful stay at Tilcara Hostel/Hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful when it came to planning my excursions, always providing great recommendations and assisting with the organization. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the place was so charming. The buildings and decor are super cute, and everything is kept spotless. It's also quite central, making it easy to explore the area. Everything went smoothly, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Also, the location is pretty close to the bus station/main bulevard of the village. The house is spacious and you have a terrace and yard where you can spend time.
