Melbourne
Landing Pads Brunswick in Melbourne provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Located around 3 km from Melbourne Zoo, the hostel with free WiFi is also 5.5 km away from Melbourne City Conference Centre. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. Landing Pads really stood by its name as it was my go-to hostel and helped me to settle into life in Melbourne. I first stayed here when I first moved to Melbourne (back during Guilly's time, the GOAT), extending for a month, and then in-between share houses. The people and volunteers are lovely, and it's definitely sociable enough for you to either be an extrovert drinking in the garden or an introvert (me) watching the telly in the living room together. Plenty of social events and the weekly family dinner, so you'll never go bored! Also it's right by Sydney Road - so many great places and shops around. I met so many people who only intended to stay for a while ending up staying for a long time, shows how special the hostel is to them

Melbourne CBD, Melbourne
Our hostel is crafted for connection and non-stop good times! We make it easy to meet fellow adventurers with nightly events that keep the energy high and friendships forming! Whether you're getting ready to explore the city's sights by day or joining us for pre-drinks before experiencing the famous Melbourne nightlife, you'll always find your crew here. It is a small hostel which makes it easy to connect to people but that also depends on your own initiative as well, you can feel the family vibes. They have events almost every day - My luck day, I was here for the BBQ on the rooftop with fairy lights and the view to the city which was very nice actually! The rooms are getting vacuumed every day (which can be annoying when you went out - lol, but I like it rather clean). It seems out the city but turned out to be like 10-15 minutes walk from the center which was nice. The communal areas are getting cleaned twice a day as well which is important to me as many people use them. Last but not least my flight was at night on my check out day and the staff members were very helpful and they told me that I can store my luggage and still use the facilities until I leave.
St Kilda, Melbourne
The renovated dormitory rooms, each have a private en suite bathroom, individual lockers and power points next to each bed. The private rooms have their own refrigerator. They also have an en suite bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Our room was amazing! We had so much space (no bunk beds), a nice view and a working AC. The highlight was our own bathroom. It was clean and comfy. Everyday we had a social activity and it was easier to meet new people. Next to the reception was a guy who gave us information about booking tours and possible things to do in and around Melbourne.

I liked that I got to have my own space, even if it was just a room, it my room for a night. I've paid more for a backpackers hostel which didn't have a smokers area, had to share with 3 other blokes and dormitory style setting. Here you get a literal house with your own safe and private (and not small either) room.
Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Modern, clean, comfortable and new. They’ve been very clever in using technology (Bluetooth locks opened with an app on your phone). Great location near the Queen Victoria Markets and within the free tram zone.
Hostel good. People nice. Beds comfy with curtains. Cheap price. I recommend for budget travelers.
It's a very very budget hotel but better than staying in a hostel. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I felt safe when in my room and was grateful for my own bathroom. I didn't notice any noise outside my room except for the occasional door slam. Close to the freeway which is good for access to the city in under 30 minutes.
Great location in the CBD with easy access to trams and trains. Bathrooms were the best hostel bathrooms I’ve experienced and the breakfast (12$ per person) was incredible for the price! All rooms/ bathrooms were kept extremely clean and were extremely comfortable for a multi-night stay.
Budget Hotel, great location, beds are comfy, bathroom clean, value for the cheap cost
The rooms are clean. The toilets are cleaned 5 times a day! The staff is really friendly and helpful! You even a lounge area, a nice rooftop area, a big kitchen and even a small gym. The location is perfect (directly in the CBD)! Not the most cheap hostel for backpackers, but still affordable! Had a great time here!
It was a basically all round practical place to stay for me. The staff were professional and the amenities were as expected in a budget hostel. I needed a place to store my baggage safely with valuable equipment inside and this was done with a locked and videod room which I appreciated.
