I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were comfortable, the location is unbeatable (right by the waterfront!), and the staff were super friendly and helpful — especially the lovely girl at reception whose name I sadly forgot. One night, I had a bit of an issue with a guest who decided to play music loudly in the room around 11pm, then continued blasting it in the shower and corridors like it was a mini rave. He seemed drunk and inconsiderate. Thankfully, I reported it to reception and they were very supportive and handled it really well. Aside from that one guest (which obviously isn’t the hostel’s fault), I had a great experience and would definitely come back!

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided. I had an incredible stay at this hostel ! The location is simply perfect, close to everything you might need. The kitchen is a real asset, very well equipped with even an oven ! The pool with its hammock creates a very relaxing tropical atmosphere. Plus, the rooms are nice and comfortable, adding to the overall experience. But what really makes this place special is the convivial atmosphere between guests and the staff: always there to help with a smile, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this youth hostel to anyone looking for a memorable stay !

The area is top tier and within walking distance to everything you'd need - the rooms are gorgeous and comfy. Would definitely come back again!
