Situated in the women's division of the World Heritage-listed Fremantle Prison, this YHA offers a mix of private and shared rooms with access to free WiFi. Guests can also choose to sleep in the actual prison cells. It was in a Heritage site which was awesome! The kitchen and common areas were very big and very clean. The kitchen had lots of everything you need to cook.

Situated in Geraldton, 200 metres from Town Beach, Geraldton Backpackers features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Some rooms at the property have a balcony with a sea view. I liked the decoration of the whole building. A vintage style but well looked after. Everything was clean and I was surprised by the beautiful fully equipped kitchen and garden area. Location is great near a cinema theatre and cafes.

Sundancer Backpackers Hostel has free bikes, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Fremantle. Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, a bar and barbecue facilities. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. I had an amazing week stay at this hostel in the heart of Fremantle! Everything was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, and the location couldn’t be more perfect for exploring Freo. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home. The facilities are modern and impeccably maintained, with a standout feature being the pool—a true lifesaver for relaxing in the heat. Multiple TVs and communal spaces also added to the comfort and entertainment options. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped, and centrally located place to stay in Fremantle. Can’t wait to come back!

Located in Broome, less than 1 km from Cable Beach, Cable Beach Backpackers provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. Located around 6 km from The Courthouse, the hostel with free WiFi is also 6 km away from Sun Pictures Cinema. The hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. I'm an older traveller and felt welcomed by the owners. Sometimes older backpackers suffer discrimination from staff, but I didn't feel that here.

Guests can choose between dormitory rooms and private rooms with shared bathroom facilities. WiFi access is available throughout the property. Coin operated washing machines and dryers are available for guests use. I'm living in Perth since 3 years and it's the best hostel I found in Perth. Beds are good, the kitchen is big and you have a lot of kitchen stuff if you compare to the rest of the hostels in Perth. The staff cleans as much as possible. They are not responsable if someone is not respectful. You have a few freezers and fridges to stock your food. Commons areas are a good place to meet new people ! Just be aware it can noisy especially the weekend because you are located in Northridge. The rapport price quality is unbeatable.
