Nyon Hostel was my first introduction to Swiss Hostel policies on putting your bed sheets which is great. Sharing toilet is state of the art. It’s like going to a membership gym washroom and has its own wall hair dryer which is fantastic. The staff are all great! They explained the check-in process very well. They had a free storage locker area downstairs which is helpful because I usually go out and explore around the area before the actual check in time.

Only a few steps from the lakeside promenade, the Youth Hostel Montreux can be found 400 metres south of the Montreux-Territet Train and Funicular Station. Free Wi-Fi and free public parking are available. The Friendly staff and the good breakfast.

The dormitory rooms have a desk, a table, a wardrobe and shared bathroom facilities. The single and double rooms also come with a washbasin. Guests can use the lockers and the laundry facilities at the hostel. I booked a bed in 4-bed mixed room, but instead was given a bed in a 2-bed room for women! It was a nice and cozy room. Luckily for me my neighbour only stayed half of the first night, and I spent the rest of my say alone in the room. Location of the hostel is great. Showers were good. Rooms are well sound isolated. Kitchen is well stocked.

The bright rooms are traditionally furnished. Bathrooms are shared. This place was great. Right off the Via Francigena. Nice big room and we even had a view of the lake.

Youth Hostel Lausanne’s functionally furnished rooms have private or shared bathrooms. The hostel is perfectly well equipped with all the amenities you can think of. The breakfast included in the tariff also was way beyond my expectations as it had a lot of vegan options! The staff is super friendly and helped plan my activities during my stay.
