The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

The hostel is quiet and offers surfing lessons. It was just perfect and I would stay there again anytime.

Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. Excellent place, it was real pleasure to stay there for some days. A room with private bathroom, I can only recommend it. Staff very friendly and helpful.
