International Inn offers private rooms and shared dormitories, all with private bathrooms. Location was spot on - right by the Philharmonic Hall where I'd gone for a concert and I could park the hire car safely overnight free opposite. Facilities were as good as you could expect for the price and hostel status and (unexpected) included free coffee, tea, milk , sugar. Reception easy and quick and staff very helpful. Will be using this place from now on for short visits to Liverpool.

The hostel has a 24-hour reception offering free luggage storage. Guests are also free to use a fully equipped self catering kitchen, dining area, retail section and common spaces. The receptionists were really friendly and spot on details about my stay. It was nice that they let me put my stuff in the storage room while I was waiting to check in. They upgraded my reservation to a private room, which was lovely! The room was clean, neat and it even had a desk to work on. There's a bar next door which connects with the building.It was nice to go downstairs and have a drink without leaving the facility.
