I was told the hostel used to be a school, so you may find the dining room, living room and bed rooms are quite spacious and roofs are high.

The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious, the toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained. The bed was delightfully comfortable, and the hostel itself was inviting, charming, and wonderful. Darius was friendly, prompt, and professional. My stay in Anstruther was excellent thanks to the lovely Murray Library Hostel :-)
