Akureyri Golf Club is 5 km from the hostel. Hlidarfjall Ski Centre is within 10 minutes’ drive. Discounts are available for guests with certain restaurants and activities such as whale watching. Location is nice, it’s easy to get restaurants, gas stations, supermarkets. The facilities are nice and friendly to everyone, and will provide door code so wouldn’t have to worry about key. Parking lots are available for visitors. The open area like kitchen, bathroom and WC are clean. It’s pleasant to stay in decorative and nice room, and highly recommended to everyone.

Located in Dalvík, 44 km from Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall, Dalvík Hostel Gimli provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. Bjarni was wery helpful with self check-in. Our room was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the big kitchen with all facilities we needed. Would stay again if I’m back!

At the hostel, each room is equipped with a desk. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Clean, good value for this money, met some nice people while cooking together, it’s super warm in the rooms (important during most of the year in Iceland)
