Both hosts are really friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome from the start. One of them is even a surf instructor, so you can also take surf lessons right there at a very affordable price. Definitely recommended!

A very social hostel with a great atmosphere and a great staff. The manager is very kind and helpful, he gives us many tips on things to do on the area and takes us to surfing lessons in the morning if we want. In the evening we all gather around a tasty family dinner cooked by the staff. There's even a skate park in the hostel ! Good location at 15min by walk from town-center and close to several beach in a quiet stress ! Bathrooms and dorms are clean with fans above each bed or AC. I highly recommend this place !

Location is amazing, few minutes to the main point, close to the main street but nice and quiet place. Rizmi is funny guy, and he welcomed me like at home! He could took us to the safari tour, was great experience to see wildlife! I really enjoyed spend some time with him and other guests as well:)) helpful owner and the room was fresh and nice colour. Clean practical room's also the network a very good fast. Absolutely the best place to stay in Arugam bay,highly recommend to anyone!

Always went out of his way to accommodate us - sharing extra phone data with us, allowing late check - out due to work commitments, updating us to the air-con room because the fan room was under renovations but with no extra charge.
