I had the best stay ! The vibe was so chill and everyone was so friendly. The beds were very comfortable and big, the showers were amazing. The staff is just soooo nice ! They would absolutely anything to help. I had a surf enjury and I couldn’t walk for over a week, if it weren’t for sishani and Shan I don’t know what I would done.. Sishani took me to the hospital, brang me food every day and helped me a lot. If you’re hesitating don’t because it’s the best for the price and the location and the quality.

The crew isn’t just helpful; they actually join in on the fun, making the whole experience even better in Weligama! Huge thanks to everyone! Emily, your barista-level coffees are dangerously good. Irene, your yoga sessions leave people raving all day with a big smile. Tesh and Harshit, you’re absolute gems—your local knowledge is impressive, and if you don’t know something, you’ll figure it out in no time!" I couldn’t name everyone, but what I do know is that the whole team is friendly, communication is smooth, and the reason I and so many others keep extending, is simple—we feel at home! Cheers!

I liked everything about this hostel! First thing you notice is that it’s very clean! It’s very close to Hiriketya beach and all the good restaurants. It also has a cute cafe with great coffee and food! And the staff? So kind, so helpful! They helped me get to my next destination, arranging tuktuk, explaining.. I can highly highly recommend it!

Highy recommend this hostel! The dorm is really big, enough space for everyone. Curtains for privacy. Big lockers to put the whole backpack in. The view is insane and the breakfast lovely. The owner is amazing, we even got a welcome juice. Would come back anytime!

Very close to the beach where you can surf or just relax. And a shower.. you can look up the sky when showering! Highly recommended!

Showcasing an expansive rooftop terrace with day-beds and barbeque, JJ's Hostel Mirissa is a boutique hostel and guesthouse located in Mirissa North, only a few minutes walk from Mirissa Beach. What did I like? Absolutely everything, I spent about 3 nights here and I was depressed about leaving, this place was the second nicest place I stayed at in sri lanka, it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice, I made alot of friends here. I feel like if you are staying in mirissa JJ hostel is part of the experience. highly recommended
