Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a barbecue. This pet-friendly hostel also has free WiFi. Our host was so welcoming and catered to all of our needs and more! The place was clean and neat but above all very homey. We had paid for a cheaper room but due to it being the low season and no one else staying at the time our host was so kind and gave us a larger bed and room for no extra cost, just for our own comfortability. The free breakfast included was a great amount of food consisting of eggs bread, cheese, chutneys, and cold meats with orange juice. My partner and I don’t eat pork for religious reasons and our host had no problem catering to this. He went above and beyond being very informative about a local mountain hike we were wanting to do and told us of local restaurants he highly recommend which were delicious and extremely well priced. He also happened to be at one of them for dinner and helped us order and explain the menu in English as the locals waiter didn’t speak any which we appreciated a lot. Free tea and coffee was available all the time which was lovely after being out in the chill. I couldn’t recommend this place more and if I ever find myself back in North Macedonia, this stay will be the first I book!

Incredibly welcoming hosts! Well informed on the area and activities to do there. The night we arrived he led us to an amazing local restaurant and told us about the village on the way. Amazing breakfast and welcome drinks! Felt very safe and comfortable! We will come back and recommend to friends and family!

Very clean and comfortable hot and cosy. Feels very safe and quiet staff are very friendly. For the money paid I honestly cant say anything negative. The parking garage is very safe and there is lots of room. Keep up the good work and maybe see you again in the future.

A great location in the centre of town and within a few minutes' walk of the historical sights. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

Great location for hiking the surrounding lovely mountains. Very cosy house, with a nice common room, a well-equipped kitchen (with rakija waiting for us in the fridge) and a fireplace. Good Internet.

Such a wonderful place!! Where to start? The quiet village of Vratnitsa, where the hostel is located, has a very special vibe. But things become even more special once you go up into the mountains. There are some magnificent trails, starting from the next village, which is walking distance from the hostel. The owner of the hostel is very very accommodating and friendly; he went out of his way to make me feel comfortable in every way, and helped organize my trips. Highly recommend and I will be back to see more of the Sar mountains!

We had a great stay at Kitka Hostel on our first day of our bicycle tour through North Macedonia. The owner is super friendly and outdoor-affine, making the best out of your stay. The breakfast was great and there is a communal kitchen where we cooked our own meals. Exploring the small villages with friendly people around is another great plus!
