Located in Turangi, Riverstone Lodge, a 5-star hostel, offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The property provides garden views and a terrace. It was such a cute hostel, absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough staying with other guests that were baking cookies and scones for everybody and people were open and friendly. Room was clean and super nice - and the owner is very friendly too.

The stairs to te top bunks is big (block of wood) so not painful like most. The chill area in the middle was very nice, kitchen as big, the dog was cool and the staff is the best! I stayed here again on my way back for 4 nights and told all my travel friends to book here.

Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge & Cafe is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It features a sauna, hot tubs and an on-site cafe. The place is so beautiful and cozy and jus opposite to the lake!its like having our own cozy place! And also barry the owner is so helpful and sweet! Loved the experience in rotorua!
