It’s located close enough to the island hustle (I walked across the bridge in to Taglibaran easily) yet also away enough in its own peaceful area to feel like a retreat. It’s a great location to scooter/Tuk tuk down to Alona but also close to the Port and Bohol. The bungalows are spacious with a balcony and if you’re a backpacker like me, easy to catch up on your washing! I was in the shared bungalow with considerate people so it was relaxing and a great experience. The river is great for a cool down swim and the property is well landscaped with some loungers to relax. It is small and very personable for a great experience. The staff and owner are incredibly helpful and also have quality scooters on hand for renting at a great rate.

Situated in Panglao, within 700 metres of Dumaluan Beach and 11 km of Hinagdanan Cave, Izla Soanna features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Located around 49 km from Tarsier Conservation Area, the hostel is also 18 km away from Baclayon Church. The hostel owner and her team went above and beyond to ensure I was helped and catered for, they looked after me like I was one of their family and helped me with anything I needed. It was one of the loveliest hostels I have stayed in. Everything was 10/10. The location is very peaceful and a 7 minute scooter ride from the chaos of alona beach. This is much better than then the other hostels in the town as alona beach itself is abit overhwleming. Can drive to a sensational beach in less than 10 minutes. 7-11 6 mins away. It was perfect. The breakfast was 80pesos and the best I had. You can book tours and motorbikes from the hostels at the cheapest prices, don't book from anyone else!

I forgot my keys in the room and they made such an effort to reach me - thank you 😊! Place itself is very quiet, but close enough to restaurants and beaches (5 min scooter ride). Bed is comfy, AC works well and it's not humid, hot shower has good pressure and everything is clean and tidy. Would extend my stay but unfortunately it was fully booked. I would totally recommend if you want to stay in quiet place with beautiful garden on Panglao.

The units at the accommodation feature air conditioning and a desk. Clean, nice rooms. The owner is very accommodating and kind. Location is also very near Alona and other establishments.

The accommodations are simple, but everything you need for an affordable place to sleep.

Located around 12 km from Hinagdanan Cave, the hostel with free WiFi is also 23 km away from Baclayon Church. The accommodation offers karaoke and an ATM. I made a mistake and booked a room without an air conditioner (even though it was clearly stated). The staff was super nice and worked with me to arrange a different room with air conditioning. I don't take things like this for granted, and am very thankful!
