Location - in the center of the town, close to bars, shops, restaurants and the sandy beach. The town is very nice, close to the airport and with easy access to some of the nicest places of the island. It also has one of the few sandy beaches on the island.

Guests that wish to have more privacy may stay in double or twin rooms. The location was great, right in the old center and accessible by bus from Funchal Airport. There were plenty of nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. There was a nice common area for relaxing. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Really great value as well!

The room I stayed in had an en suite bathroom and airconditioning which was great. The bed was comfortable and had curtains for privacy. There's also a cafe for food/drinks.
