We are located just a few minutes walk away from Waikiki Beach on the south shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The location was excellent just one street back from the beach at Waikiki/Kuhio. Easy walk to shops, cafe's, public bus and everything you could need. I loved the two share room with shared bathroom and kitchen. It was modern, comfortable and clean for an older style building. Check in staff were excellent and there is security 24 hours. Free beach gear available to use and free coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The Hi 5 tours offer a free half day trip on Sundays which would be great for getting to know some of Oahu's places. Ionnis also offers some great tours. I recommend the foodie tour.

It was my first time staying in a hostel in a shared room and I loved it. The staff is extremely attentive and always tries to help with any questions. The bathroom in the room is cleaned daily and the shower is excellent, which made showering after a day at the beach amazing. On top of that, the beds are comfortable, the bed linens are clean, and the towels are fresh as well. The common areas of the hostel are great for relaxing and socializing. I felt safe the entire time, and there are lockers inside the rooms to store personal items. Finally, the location is perfect—close to the beach and everything you need to fully enjoy Honolulu. Without a doubt, I will stay at this hostel again.
