Our holiday home is strategically well located, surrounded by greenery while still offering excellent infrastructure. Hiking and cycling trails are right nearby, starting from Mureck and leading through the Murauen nature reserve to Bad Radkersburg or upstream to Spielfeld. The South Styrian Wine Road, the thermal and volcanic region of Southeast Styria, and the Slovenian countryside are all easily accessible by bike, offering diverse routes and stunning views. In the neighboring village of Ratschendorf, visitors can explore the Sieben-Quellen-Weg (Seven Springs Trail), a great day trip even for less experienced hikers. On rainy days, you can relax in the thermal waters of the Parktherme Bad Radkersburg or the Therme Bad Gleichenberg. The Erlebnisbad Mureck offers large, shady sunbathing areas and plenty of water fun for both children and adults. Additional sports facilities include tennis, beach volleyball, and football. When it comes to culinary experiences, the surrounding area offers a wide selection – from rustic wine taverns like Pechmann’s Alte Ölmühle (Mostschenke im Gewölbe) and Buschenschank Dunkl to restaurants in various price ranges, serving everything from hearty local cuisine to exquisite fine dining.
