Review: Absolutely exceptional, stylish, superbly located, quiet. Best I’ve ever had the pleasure to visit.
Enjoy our cast iron wood fire, the deluxe double spa, the spacious raised deck and BBQ amid the trees, complimentary wine, a coffee machine for those that consider coffee more than just a beverage, & for the culinary minded - a well appointed kitchen.
Artistic, creative, welcoming, set in the peace of a secluded native bush-land block with abundant wild and bird life & a spectacular backdrop of the Grampians National Park. And vibrant Halls Gap & its cafes & restaurants is only a 1.5km wander away.
Hiking, wineries, rock climbing, cycling, kayaking, the local festivals. So much to do and see. Or relax and let the tranquility of our accomodation take you away from the hubbub of every day life.
Heavenly Escape, a simply beautiful getaway.
"The best of the best. The location is perfect, the place is beautiful and everything is designed to your needs. Our stay was amazing..." ... one of many much appreciated recent guest reviews.
Timothy Syrota spent more than a decade based in South East Asia working as a documentary director and photographer, focusing on social and humanitarian issues and working with the likes of the International Rescue Committee, Save the Children and Handicap International. My wife similarly works In International Aid. However, with a family including two young daughters, we returned to Australia to the Grampians from where I both run Heavenly Escape whilst continuing to work in media, particularly undertaking the somewhat daunting task of writing a (second) book.
Regarding Heavenly Escape, itself, in a nutshell, it is the sort of house that my wife and I like to stay in - we love the house and I take a lotto pleasure in, step-by-step, making it more and more lovely, whether that be planting new native plants to further encourage bird and wild life, picking up quaint and quirky decorations or 'knick-knacks' or generally thinking, what is it that would make this (even) better, if we were staying here.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy your time at A Heavenly Escape..
