Between us, we have over 30 years of experience hosting guests in this spectacular region that we are so fortunate to call home. PLEASE NOTE - this house cannot be booked for 10 adults; the bunk bed is suitable for children (14&under) only.
On the ground floor is the lounge (with wood burner, Smart TV and reverse cycle air conditioning), kitchen, dining room, laundry with WC, and master bedroom. The master has king bed and en suite, with bath, shower, double vanity, and separate toilet. Access to the garage (from kitchen) and back yard (from dining room, laundry and garage) is on this level.
The other 4 bedrooms are located on the first floor, via a wooden staircase, plus a second lounge, with smart TV (guests can use their own logins to stream content via the apps available) and reverse cycle air conditioning, and main bathroom. This has a galley-style powder room with separate WC, leading into the bathroom, which has a shower, bath and vanity. From the lounge, step out onto the balcony facing the ocean.
The principal bedroom upstairs has King bed. The flue from the fire downstairs passes through this room, adding extra warmth. The other bedroom configurations are 1x Queen, 2x King singles and a single-sized bunk bed, suitable for young children only. All King and Queen bedrooms have built-in, mirrored wardrobes, and ceiling fans; the twin has a tall boy, chest of drawers and ceiling fan; and the bunk room has a chest of drawers, play table and wall-mounted fan.
All linen is provided (excl beach towels). This accommodation is fully self-catered, and as a courtesy we provide a basic starter pack for each stay, including: soap, toilet rolls, basic cleaning products, and some cooking essentials (oil, salt, pepper). Guests are responsible for the ongoing supply of essentials (including firewood, fire lighters, matches).

Abbey is a quiet beachside enclave, located on the West side of Busselton, close to Vasse. On the edge of town, it enjoys long stretches of pristine beach minus the crowds. A community of local businesses has popped up, offering wonderful food and drink options. Try Claudio Bakehouse for coffee and pastries; grab some fish & chips from Leeuwin Way Takeaway and some drinks from the bottle shop to enjoy dinner on the beach, or pop to Ooze and Tang for stunning culinary delights (and phenomenal drinks list). The Margaret River Wine Region is one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in the world. Considered a “boutique” region, production is small and quality-focused. The unique microclimates and fabulous soils here mean that producers can make some of the world’s best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with a host of other single varietal and blend wines.
