A special place to relax and be looked after by experienced hosts. We have a bed and breakfast because we enjoy people and like looking after them.
The North-facing covered terrace adjoins the 10m magnesium salt swimming pool, with towels and sunlounges provided. Both guest bedrooms in our home are newly renovated,. Each has its own ensuite, or private shower room right across the hall, as well as direct access to the balcony. We also have an independent Studio Apartment with kitchen, also with pool access and breakfast if you choose.
We are flexible, happy to meet dietary needs, and give you privacy or company. A number of women guests travelling by themselves have offered that they feel safe and comfortable here. You're welcome to smoke or vape on the terrace or balcony, no illegal drugs. We have a small outside dog who loves people. If you don't love him it's not an issue for us to put him in another area.
The 1960s Pool House is a reasonably-priced friendly option when you need a night or few on the Redcliffe peninsular, or you're coming/going from Brisbane airport, and like a Continental breakfast served to start the day. It's an amazing location to see sights such as Australia Zoo, Brisbane city by train without worrying about parking, spend time on the beach, or chill by our pool!
Margate Beach is near and the Sunday market at Redcliffe is excellent! Shops, including supermarket, bakery, liquor, fruit, tobacconist, bars, restaurants and takeaways are in Margate only 5 minutes walk away. Relax here and enjoy fish and chips on the nearby beach! Or wander to the Belvedere Hotel and watch the sunset. We don't promise you will see the local koalas, but some guests have! If you will arrive before 3pm or leave after 10am you can pre-book a day pass - just enquire. Before your arrival day you will need to prearrange a 1 hour time-slot for your arrival.
