About this property

Set on the Paynesville canals on the Gippsland Lakes, Captains Cove Resort - Absolute Waterfront Apartments offers an indoor heated pool, a tennis court, basketball ring, private jetties and water activities. It is just 5 minutes’ walk from to the Raymond Island ferry and the Esplanade, where you will find waterfront restaurants, wine bar, cafes and walking tracks. While all of our apartments are 3 bedrooms our rates are based on how many people are staying making it more affordable for couples and smaller groups. Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, BBQ, laundry, split system heating/cooling and a TV in the lounge area and master bedroom. All include a covered car parking space and access to a private boat jetty. Guests can stroll along the boardwalk and the peaceful gardens. Paynesville is known as the heart of the Gippsland Lakes. The canals offer a non-tida & protected boating haven. Gippsland Lakes activities include boating, sailing, fishing, visiting 90 mile beach, bike riding and water skiing. Guests can hire kayaks, bikes & tennis equipment. Paynesville's Captains Cove Resort - Absolute Waterfront Apartments is just a 500 metre walk to the Esplanade & the Raymond Island Ferry. Raymond Island offers a natural paradise to explore where you will see koalas & kangaroos in their natural habitat & beautiful wildlife. Bairnsdale Golf and Bowls Club is 6 minutes’ drive away as is the Mitchell River Silt Jetties.

Captains Cove Waterfront Apartments have been managed by Tamara Cook for the past 16 years. Tamara, Tania and the team are passionate about what we do and proud of the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame & our high guest star rating. Renowned for our friendly & personalised service, our clean apartments, our views, our peace & quiet & as a place to relax and unwind. We are available 7 days by phone or you can visit us at our Mariners Cove Reception 9am - 6pm. Our website offers lots of helpful travel information. We offer a tennis court, basketball ring, kayak & bike hire, private jetties, BBQ on your front deck & your apartment is full of the little things to make your stay a home away from home. Everyone that stays at Captains Cove Waterfront Apartments falls in love with the place & we hope that you do too.

Neighbourhood information

Paynesville is the heart of the Gippsland Lakes. A short walk to the Raymond Island ferry to visit the koalas, take a boat cruise to the 90 mile beach or Metung, drive through the coutnry side of Buchan & Bruthen. East Gippsland offers a diverse landscape for boating, watersports, adventure, walking, cafes & restaurants.Captains Cove is set in quiet surrounds with just a short walk to the Paynesville Esplanade.
